Amy Bruning so i CLEARLY need to start photographing my quilts in front of castles! amazeballs. (although it would of course be a rad quilt even if photographed in front of a gas station.)
Elizabeth Ossian We are in short supply of castles in Western Nebraska. Love the quilt!

Deborah Moebes Sigh. I did a similarly-scaled log cabin last year, but don't want to make a ton more blocks to get this layout. So, it sits. Love this, wish I could get mine there!
by me. and hey - that's me!

Sarah Murray I'm in LOVE with this!!! Genius. Maybe I should make one with my two fw blocks..afraid it wouldn't have the same effect. Kmamf!!xoxo
Happy Zombie OMG Sarah, you SO HAVE to make a quilt with your two FW blocks. Two would be an even better effect!! It could be your KMAFW quilt! PS, kmamf.
Sarah Murray hahaha, yes! And I can use my skills and applique a giant waving middle finger right in the middle! Oh, and don't forget to kma...mf.

Amber Carrillo ha ha - I love the "hiding behind the bush" shot!
Joan Callaway Hi, Vi! Hi, Vi (Echo - get it?!)
Fetching pins…
Happy Zombie Is a soursop something one would put in a soup, and the flavor is out of this world… unless you actually bite into the soursop? I think that's what a neighbor of mine used to put in her soups (that I learned to eat VERY carefully!). I want to snoop around in your yard - it looks dreamy!
Amber Carrillo no...it's green on the outside and has a fleshy white pulp on the inside with big black seeds. In Spanish they call it Guanabana...we make milkshakes with it but they take a while to grow. We have a lychee tree in the back that just doesn't want to have lychees - it's very sad! And a fig tree and guava and some other weird fruit. The previous owner was a MAJOR gardener/horticulturist.
Happy Zombie Your yard sounds ENCHANTING!!!
Amber Carrillo Wish it were bigger for the kids but it is fun - that part behind the girls is like a mini forest....
Lauren in Dallas I love the controlled chaos! It makes me think I could tackle this as a novice and no one could pick out my mistakes.
