Austin is the home to the University of Texas which caters to over 50,000 students yearly. The popular hangout spot for students is called "The Drag" (Guadalupe Street), but locals also eat and shop here too. According to Zillow, the median price of a home here is 207k (which seems low), but this area is predominantly renters.

I Luv Video is an award-winning video store that features popular and rare films. If you're a movie buff, you can spend hours at this store (or their other location on Airport). Located at 2915 Guadalupe.
