DIY project to do before our next trip- Hubby loves to wrap up his bathroom stuff in a small towel so this is perfect
supposed to be the best....This is the BEST BEST BEST play dough recipe you will ever find - I have used it for 8 years in my classroom. The kids absolutely love it. The recipe on this link is for a small batch - here is the classroom size batch, and we use a bit of baby oil in it as well to add a really smooth and soft texture. Parents rotate and bring us new play dough every week. The recipe: 4 cups water, 4 cups flour, 1 cup salt, 2 tablespoons cooking oil, 4 teaspoons cream of tartar, food coloring. Combine ingredients. Cook, stirring constantly, until most of the moisture is absorbed. Store in a covered container or Ziploc – does not need refrigeration. Add a bit of baby oil to get a softer texture.

Blow up a balloon and tie it. Dip yarn in watered-down glue. Wrap the glued yarn around a balloon. Let the yarn dry. Once dry, pop the balloon!
