Add orange peels (or any citrus peel) to a quart of white vinegar in a closed container and let it set for two weeks. Combine citrus/vinegar solution half/half with water and use for cleaning. Works on floors, tile, fixtures, etc. Smells good and is tough on scum! Best of all there are no chemicals.

Freeze green onions in water bottles - shake out the right amount and return to the freezer! I always have green onions that go bad because I don't use them fast enough. Love this!

Tia W You can also use a plastic sandwich baggie like ziplock and puncture a small hole in it. Put that around a container that has some food in it. Fruit flies go in for the food, but can't find their way out! It works!
