The Chattered Chain got me started in the Darkover world, but I really can't post all of them on one board, but these free are a good point to start your quest ;-)

I just finished the first book (this one) of the Wheel of Time series and I am absolutely hooked! Warning, don't start to read it if you are don't have the time to finish the series. I think there are 13 books in total so far ...
