So, the day it happened was pretty much the definition of a normal day for us. It was a Monday night, and I had just gotten off work. He was already home, in his P.Js, with the TV on, ready for us to watch our show. I popped some frozen dinners into the microwave and we settled down to watch. On July 2, 2011 I decided to take my family on a last minute get away. We traveled over to Myrtle Beach, S.C. My fiance and I had just found out that we where expecting our second child and that we where about 3 1/2 months pregnant. After an awesome time of vacationing we had to end it and head back home. Before leaving we stopped to Ruby Tuesday to have lunch and my entire family was present. As we entered and where being seated I told the waitress to never bring my drink.

This past June on our vacation in Honduras, it began as the most horrible day I'd ever experienced. Jay and I woke early and went on a hike through the jungle. It was 95 degrees and humid, when we returned, we jumped in the pool to cool off. All of a sudden, we see a man walk out through the trees next door (just 10 yards from us) and shoot a gun into the air three times -- POW POW POW.

It was the day before my birthday, and I had just got in from work and was trying to get ready but feeling frustrated that I wasn't going to look good, and was basically having a strop!! Mike (the now fiance) told me to go an open my presents since he was in work at 8 am the next day and I wouldnt get them until later in the day.

Fast forward to today, if you were to ever walk in our front door you would see the television on ESPN or QVC depending on who had control of the remote. I literally fall asleep to QVC on in the background each and every night. Once I started thinking of proposing to Eleanor, I realized I wanted it to be original and that is when I thought how meaningful it would be if I did something involving QVC.

Video of a surprised engagement and wedding. The guy gathered information through conversation for over a year. He'd ask questions about what she wanted at her wedding, who she wanted to be there, etc. Then, he brought it all together and gave her a surprise proposal and instant wedding when his bride-to-be thought she was attending a retirement party with a friend. I'm sure, the instant wedding thing isn't for everyone, but it was perfect for this couple and resulted in this heart warming video
