Elisabeth Willis While I think breastfeeding is wonderful and very beneficial for the baby and mother, I think it's more of a person and private activity and experience. I don't like how it's being broadcasted everywhere. Our bodies are sacred, and even when we'redoijg something as wonderful as breastfeeding, our breasts don't need to be flaunted where everybody can see them.

Elle Borealis The headline on time.com is "Inside the Rise of Extreme Parenting" - I find that pretty distasteful.
Tara L I HATE that it's presented as extreme parenting. Breastfeeding is a public health issue. This fuels confusion & misconceptions. Personally I love the picture, but not in this context.
Beth Shupp-George I hate that they have totally sensationalized attachment parenting and breastfeeding beyond infancy. There's a beautiful photo of this mom and boy that could have been used on the cover instead of this rather bizarre one. I have to think that Time's intention was to make AP parents and anyone breastfeeding a toddler look like freaks. (And I say this as an AP parent who is breastfeeding my 3.5 yo.)

Sara Bella I sincerely believe the hospital are out to sabotage breast feeding. I hated letting my babies go to the nursery because you can't watch them there and don't know what the nurses are giving them. I think some of my babies had nipple confusion for that very reason.

Claire Schuler I agree @ sara one of my friend's babies was taken to the nursery was told to bring her back, and they gave her formula...F#$^ her up. She had all sorts of problems after that :( Then they made her take acid reflux meds (tried to blame my friend) and then she got constipated...it was horrible
