Paper by FiftyThree: beautiful, elegant, simple to use. Makes you feel like an artist, and encourages you to capture your ideas in a more visual way. Available on the iPad for free, though you'll probably want to grab the extra tools as an in-app purchase. I'm in love!
Draw Something: a fun, simple, and addictive app you can play with your friends (iOS and Android)

Love, love the simplicity of this app! Clear for iPhone has no buttons, just what you need on the go.

The Pinterest iPhone app probably needs no introduction here. Just as elegant as the website, I love the way the user interface hides when you scroll down to make the content more prominent.
Perfect RSS - my favorite app for accessing Google Reader feeds on the iPad. Not perfect, but it does have a nice interface for an enjoyable and fast reading experience.
Aiko Island HD - love this game on my iPad! It combines different game styles with super cute characters and sounds. Can't wait for future updates!
Want to get a taste of Japanese? Look no further than this app! It's language lessons done right. (Also available for Android, WP7 and desktop computers.)
I usually use the mobile version of Evernote to access notes made on my iMac, but it's also great for taking notes during meetings.
Wonderful game, especially on the iPad (the Android version has just been released as well). Love the soothing music, yet the game provides enough challenges to keep you busy for a while.
Simple, yet magically addictive. Makes you feel like a photographer even if you can't even hold your camera steady, let alone worry about lenses, light and all the rest.
