Phyllis Price I've made a number of these in the past year... a great way to use up scraps of special fabric you just can't part with. Despite numerous ties with different techniques, it was too tricky to get the birds to sit up right. My solution was to make them into a bell-pull style, with them tinterspaced with interesting beads and bells. A great shower gift.
