Andy Richards @Alissa King— i'm trying to hand embroider calligraphy onto a big banner like this....what kind of stitch can i use to get this effect?!
Alissa King This is fab! I will email you some stitches, I am thinking a lazy daisy stitch. For this the material selection will be the most important thing. If you have an easy stitch but your fabric is to tightly woven and/or your floss/yarn is too thick you could be working on this for days. On the other hand, if you choose a slippery yarn and your fabric is like the picture you could be done in an hour!
