Barbara Bice I MADE THESE! ok.. here are a few tips... number 1. it takes WAY more sprinkles than you would imagine! 2. WORK FAST.. the ice cream melts fast.. 3, choose your sprinkle colors wisely.. we did many colors some bled (blue and black) 4. use tasty sprinkles.. chocolate or something maybe CRUSHED CANDY!! but some sprinkles tasted gross.. the red was like .. red sugar.. kids hated it! ... 5. have a cakepan with wax paper to set them on.. keep pan in freezer while you work.. open freezer each time to put in next ice cream ball ..5. use melon baller.. ice cream scoop didnt make good balls..

Another way I was thinking of doing this is using cake boards [I have three different sizes] and attaching the streamers onto it, like in the picture, finally scott taping it to the ceiling with the fishing line.

Vintage Tikitacky I think that is a fair question, Grace. If you're having a "green" wedding, or just being socially aware, it would be a consideration. Personally I am a fan of untreated rice paper because it degrades as soon as it gets wet!
