Profile picture of Christine Matthews

Christine Matthews Lovely finish, have you ever tried quark paint. It also gives that wonderful flat finish and is so easy. Just take a pint of milk add a squeeze of lemon juice leave to seperate, strain off the solids and you have the base for a paint add pigment. Just finish with wax to seal or even add wallpaper paste to give a sheen. I use this all the time in my house, it's 400 years old and the walls need to breatheand brilliant for furniture.
