Rainbow Cake is so fun and so easy. Prepare cake mix following package directions for 24 cupcakes. Divide batter into 4 bowls. Stir a different color of food coloring into each bowl of batter until desired color is reached. Spoon batter into zipper bags.

I used a 10 inch doily. Looks like I might be able to get 4 out of each even if I make it taller. The template is 8.5" from tip to tip and 2 inchs wide. I took a cupcake liner and cut off the bottom, slit the side and laid it down on paper. Very simple. But as I mentioned in my post in the forum I will probably try and make them a little taller for a more dramatic look.
