Sarah Lindblad Thanks! I just discovered that the arrow next to the gas tank indicator points to the side of the car the tank is on. Sure helps with rentals.
Barbara Muirhead Haha Sarah yes that was a revelation to me also. How about the little push in bits at the side of your cling wrap or foil that stop the roll from coming out when you pull some out the box.
Sarah Lindblad WHAT little push in bits!!!! Thanks!
Barbara Muirhead Look on the very end of your cling wrap or foil box (maybe not every brand has this) but there are little perforated semi-circles that push inwards to hold the roll in place. I am using glad cling wrap and reynolds foil but even my store brand have these.
Martin Toma I have a car with the gas tank indicator pointing the wrong way and a Dell computer that requires the USB connector seam to be to the right.

Ginia Houston I actually bought the blender about about 3 weeks ago (Target had a sell, got a $30 model for $20); then went to Walmart and bought a box of the mason jars (they only sell them by the case). This really works ..have been using this to make our daily single smoothies.

Mary Carruthers You can also re-season with Flaxseed oil so ih have read..
Connie Farris I have bought used cast iron to get all the thick crust of of them I put them in a wood fire......and then reseason them....
Marcie Tardio I love my cast Iron skillet also, but since I now have a smooth top stove I can not use my cast iron skillet because it will scratche the stove top and also slides very easily on the stove
Barb McQuiston I put my cast iron skillet in the self cleaning oven and it warpped. so be careful cleaning with high heats.
Howard Kwong I grew up with a cast iron wok, I never learned not to use soap or steel wool or season with oil afterwards! Yes, I was doing everything wrong!!!

Store Knives Upside Down in a Knife Block to Avoid Dulling the Blades by Alan Henry, lifehacker.com #Knives #Alan_Henry #lifehacker
33 likes 7 comments 342 repins
Erin Nirvana Storing knives in a wooden block is not reccomneded because bacteria can grow inside the block and obivously get on your knives and make you sick. Instead it is reccomended that you store knives on a magnetic strip where they an get plenty of air flow.
Nikki Williams ...well i am yet to die (or in fact become sick) from using knives from wooden blocks so I'm really not too fussed about that....but is the bacteria that ur knives are exposed to in the air flow a consideration cos that certainly isn't a sterile environment either if you're that concerned?
Leta Greene Just put your knives away clean and dry..
Danielle Westvang This is interesting, because it's actually unsafe to leave knives face up. If you properly sanitize your knives, you shouldn't have to worry about bacteria build up.
Roxanne Harpe This is the correct way, I always have done this and finally got my family onbaord!
