Desiree Scarambone I understand that borax is all natural and non toxic - perhaps I need to do some research to be sure because I use it in many ways. Silly putty seems like another great use for a favorite product!
Kara McIntee Borax is only toxic in huge amounts. It really isn't bad in this amount at all. We did this when I taught preschool and some parents freaked so I had to research it.

Tracy Cullom cute! We use plain red/green cards on doors or windows in our neighborhood. It works better for us bc the kids can see from the street without coming up the driveway to the door. These are much cuter though than our ratty construction paper. Maybe I can at least switch to red/green ribbons.
