I love Alice Cooper singing Working Man. Plus I love Alice Cooper. He gets it.
now to ruin my credibilty, here is my rendition of Last Worthless Evening by Don Henley, using my voice. Edited by my son Ian who is a pro and I love him for doing this for me. He had never even heard ths song! You have to hit it a couple of times, locating the actual link below the picture, to get it to tranfer to Vimeo.

Baby Grand--written for Ray Charles and sung as a duet with him. I don't like Billy Joel most of the time but this is my SECOND fav. song of all time after all my kid's songs. Wait til you hear ray's voice--it sends frissons up my spine. He was incredible. So is this song.
Elvin Bishop's great song Fooled Around and Fell in Love
other than anything by my kid's band, the acoustic verson of Thunder Road is my favorite song of all time. Poetry in music. Sheer Beauty. I could listen to this over and over--not as good as the acoustic version on the album but amazing anyway, any time.
YES!Met Joe Butler 2X-he was the coolest! I was a geeky kid, in Greenwich Village.--They played at the Night Owl Cafe.He played his drums along with their megahit, "Hot Town Summer in the City" for me &my BF Debbie. We were both 13! We has peered in the door of the Night Owl& he let us in.The experience of a lifetime! We stormed the stage-just us 2 girls-at a concert,&I said hi to Zal Yanovsky & all he did was smile and smile! ♥ Then all of us-tons had followed-were yanked off the stage!
Jill Scott's "Hear My Call." We walk this earth together.
Life would suck without the BEATLES music

Dixie Chicks no one can hold a note longer or more beautifully and their Landslide cover is better than the original in my opinion

Jim loved ths concert. We have seen McCartney a lot. Jim is a total Beatle freak. John Lennon is one of his heros
Anything Clapton has ever done is OK with me. Running on Faith is one of my all time favourites.

Ashley Strand I have this record....amazing
Jean Yates I know!!!
Dire Straits. This is my favourite album of theirs. It quantifies all of their greatness to me. I like playing along to it on the piano and I don't care that I can't play the piano. I listen to it with candles lit. And play lousily along and sometimes sing, even. Yes, it can get scarey here.
Janis. I relate to her and I had the great fortune of hearing her at Madison Square Garden, with Johnny Winters as a surprise guest, showing up. Holy cow! What a voice she has. I listen, and I also read books about the people in music whom I love.

Life altering album for me. Music is so important to me I am unable to express what a part it has played in my progress as I tread this mortal coil. Wow, was that heavy or what? Sorry about that! I get overexcited concerning music.
