Sue Anderson I am in love with this!
Monocomplex’s new lamp, After Image, was inspired from the scene of mouse fire play (‘Jui-bool-no-ri’ in Korean language), which is one of Korea’s traditional customs.

The Shape of Design by @Frank Chimero is a great design thinking book, helping to explain design as a method to plan and create change. I'm still reading this but it's hugely inspiring and highly recommended. $30

Kirtan Patel awesome pick
Graphic Design: The New Basics by @Ellen Lupton is actually a fantastic, nonstandard approach to a basic design principles book. It goes through various elements of graphic design individually with current examples from MICA students, then assembles everything towards the end. $20

Typography: Macro and Microaesthetics by Willi Kunz is another book that looks at typography from both a close-up, type design perspective, as well as its application. I own this book but haven't read it yet. We used it in @Stacie Rohrbach's class though so it must be good. $70

Ordering Disorder: Grid Principles for Web Design by @Khoi Vinh // This is the only book on grid systems that applies the knowledge to web and digital experiences, which alone makes it valuable. The fact that Khoi knows his shit makes it even better. Highly recommended. $20

Grid Systems in Graphic Design/Raster Systeme Fur Die Visuele Gestaltung (German and English Edition) by Josef Muller-Brockmann // Great book. I've read this one cover-to-cover and actually learned more about grids than I did in any class at CMU. Highly recommended. $70

Jeremy Wolf You can probably make your own version by milling some walnut and using a powered usb hub.
I have nothing but praise for the RCA Basic Indoor Antenna. For under $9, I'm getting ~50 TV channels, some of which are in HD. I'm pretty sure if I actually tried to position it properly, I could get more, since reviews say some people got ~100 channels. You also don't need a digital converter box, either. This is a superb antenna if you have some guests that like TV, or if you are too cheap for cable.
