Perceptive Pixel presented their 27-inch multitouch desktop monitor at Autodesk University. You can tap, gesture, and use a stylus—or do all of them at the same time. The software looks extremely polished as well in terms of animation fluidity, and on top of that, they've devised "palm-rejection" technology that allows you to lay your palm on the surface as you would a piece of paper without triggering touch. The result is an incredibly fluid, intuitive way to interact with visual content. This is the closest to working on digital paper I've ever seen. Click through for a video.
