Ellen Waters Beecworth is my backyard! Was there this week. I have the honey. Love the ice creams and drinks. My sister and BIL have 2 hives so I also get home harvested honey. Lucky me!!
Jo Yum!... I want to take the kids to see a 'see-through' hive, but I think they only have the clear pipe?... also accom for 5 of us is SO expensive!... My bestie has 8 hives, so I'm just waiting until spring for the honey :)
Ellen Waters No, the hive is see through too. You have to hunt for the queen. It is like a big box. The tube is also see through. Accommodation must be tricky!
