I would never think of this! Light charcoal in terracotta pots lined with foil for tabletop s'mores. Fun outdoor summer party idea.

from the farm chicks... mix up each batch and place each pie filling in it's own freezer bag. I then place the freezer bag in a pie pan and place it in the freezer to freeze in that shape. Once the filling is frozen, I take it out of the pan and store the fillings in stacks in the freezer. When I want to make a pie, all I have to do is unwrap a filling, plunk it into the crust, and bake

I'd use their initials, my kids spell out C.A.K.E. :) I love it when they all leave for school and there are 5 glasses with ice in them on the counter, and there are only 3 that left for high school.

For the zippers that never want to stay up! This is so clever!

GENIUS...Line a pathway with rocks painted in glow in the dark paint. During the day they "charge" in the sun and in the evening they reflect the stored light. Rust-Oleum Glow in the Dark Brush-on Paint.

SMART! Little flat stones for your bridesmaids to stand on during an outdoor ceremony. (So their heels don't sink into the ground!)

For down the road: Random ransom box: If you leave your stuff out after 1 warning, mom puts it inside this box and you can't get it back until you draw a job from the envelope and do it. (Her job list is hysterical.)

Make your own glue dots: Using Aleene's "Tack-It Over and Over" glue, make dots in any size or shape on the inside cover of an empty CD cover. Let dry. Peel off as needed. Note: We did this on freezer paper - Awesome!!

"If you want to cook corn for the masses, Bon Appetit suggests a dead simple, ingenious method: "cooler corn." Basically, fill a large, clean cooler with loads of corn on the cob and pour two kettles-full of boiling water over the corn, then close the top. 30 minutes later, your corn will be perfectly cooked."

GREAT idea for school lunches AND HUSBANDS LUNCHES! -- make smoothies, freeze them, then put them in their lunchboxes frozen (they will thaw before lunch plus act as a cold pack for other things).

"moldy sandwich bags" I think I'll invest in these if anyone else steals Todd's lunch out of the office, lol.
