The best part about this display is it doubles as decoration. Once attendees slide off the papers bearing their table numbers, the ribbons remain as cheery party streamers.

Chocolate Dipped Apple Slices - I love this idea...you could do a caramel layer first. So much easier to eat than the whole version!

Wrapping paper as a table runner

ConnieBey..... I usually cut the paper in half or in third so you have a thinner table runner and can have more of a contrast with the tablecloth.
James&Co Great idea!
Cheri Zajac Great idea! Thanx for sharing!!

On their birthday, cover the floor of their room with balloons while they sleep. That way they have a big surprise when they wake up.

Ella Strauss We did this for our kids when they were young. It's something they still remember as adults because it was a birthday surprise that made them feel so special!
Audry Post My mother told me she did this for my first birthday and i didn't bat an eyelid ;) From then on once we were older she would cover our door entry way with streamers so we would have to 'break' out of the room

Robyn Littleworth I adore it! Have you checked if it's foodsafe? I would probably do it anyway, but just curious :)
Lindsay yeah, what robyn said. if foodsafe, I love it!
Sue Harrison If it isn't you could use a saucer and then still use the same concept
Ashlea Fowler I LOVE CHALKBOARD PAINT!!!
Easy way to make hanging flower balls. Wiffle balls from dollar store, dollar store fake flowers, pull the stems off the flower, hot glue around the circle in the wiffle ball, press flower into the hole making sure the bottom of the flower, keep going until the ball is full of flowers, then hang with a ribbon. Genius!

Elizabeth Belisle put ribbon in first.
Good idea for cake decorating...dollop, then flatten and spread a bit with back of a spoon

Pam Bregar This is simple and neat. But what does the last row look like?
Chris Johnson Pam, good point. Maybe your dollops need to be much smaller on that last row? I don't know if that would work or not.
Lydia Nabors Just cut a slice out of that row and eat the evidence. :)
Julie Hendrick Wet your finger and pop those little tips flat and you will have a row of flat round buttons
Chocolate Quake Cake... bake and frost two round cakes. Cut a third cake into small triangular shapes and "decorate" the frosted cake with the hunks! OH HOW FITTING!!!!

Amanda Farmer This is at The ACE hotel in Palm Springs. I have only been there once but i loved it so much that, apparently, i can recognize it by a thumbnail of its signage on the internet. If you are looking for great party ideas, search for weddings and events that have been held there. Gorgeous!
Fetching pins…
Sarah Hassani @Janeen Berry I can see you making these :)
