DIY puffy beaded heart video tutorial: This wasn't too difficult to do, but it took quite a bit of patience and stopping and starting the video to keep up and see exactly what I should do next. The directions are very clear, though, I only had trouble at the end when putting the last center bead in. It seems she used some sort of heavy duty thread. I used fishing line and it was really stiff, which I think has both pros and cons. I used regular red seed beads. The puffy heart I made is really cute, though! Perfect for valentine's day!

Jessica oh also if you watch the last video for attaching the necklace, she shows a way to attach the heart from the center of the heart as you're attaching the last bead. But if you do everything else and complete the heart, you'll probably have to attach it like in the photo I've pinned. I like it better, but it's just something to keep in mind.

diy necklace! Made a few of these, very easy and fun to make. Held a craft night to show some other friends how to make them. Can get a little frustrating when tying the ends so that there isn't space btwn the beads, not sure how to resolve that except to keep it very taunt.

map our adventures so fun and cute, cheap, easy and rewarding. Definitely recommend making one of these. The light blue background really pops with the cork color. I printed off multicolored flags from another site to mark where we've been.

old Christmas lights dipped in glitter + put in a jar fun and easy to do...although the glitter still gets everywhere. I put mod podge over one but it dulled the glitter. Considering clear spray paint?

Michelle Gnodle My daughter sprayed her glitter skull with hairspray & it seemed to help with the glitter going everywhere problem.

Nikki Berlew O'Meara There are old Christmas lights in our basement from before we moved here. This will be a great way to repurpose them!

OMG how appropriate is this for my workplace?! Coworker made this for me for my desk at work (natural history museum). The post-it number of days since the last incident changes on a regular basis.

fishtail braid Used this tutorial to braid together 4 strands of beads for a very pretty braided bead bracelet (say that 3 times fast).

Loving these gorgeous snow globes from Anthropologie.com. easy and fun to make, I picked up holiday decorations from the thrift store as well as the jars. Glycerin from the drug store and snow glitter from the craft store. The water ended up rusty after a while, so maybe next time I'd use the corked bottle.

Michelle Gnodle Maybe paint the inside of the lid with a waterproof sealant to prevent rusting?

Jessica hmmmm, yes that would have been a good idea. I even have some, too, darn it!

Penny Tiled Desk - We cut a round table top and then painted it black, and used Gorilla glue to glue the pennies on one by one by starting in the center of the circle. Some pennies around the edges had to be snipped to fit the curve of the table. Overall a bit time consuming but a beautiful and rewarding project.

Sam Porter You made a table like this???? I want!

baked marbles: bake clear marbles on a cookie sheet at 325-350 degrees for 20 minutes. immediately put them in a sink or metal bowl filled with ice water. the glass cracks on the inside, not the outside. glue on a cap bead with a starter loop. super easy to make, although I was a bit anxious about dumping them into the ice water. I wish I'd had them in the oven a bit hotter, some of them didn't crack as dramatically as others did. They ended up making beautiful necklaces that I gave away as gifts.

Nikki Berlew O'Meara This is a fantastic idea. I can't wait to try it myself!

Felt flower wreath - felt flowers are easy and fun to make, and can be used to decorate so many things. I made them into pins and wreaths. This type of wreath you can get at the dollar store. Also considering a headband?

bow ties for puppies! Used this general idea to make bow ties for a couple dogs in my life. I just made the bow and then a pin to attach to their regular collar. Could also be tied on with a ribbon.

Hannah Totally already saw that, but would it make people think my little girl is a boy? I guess it doesn't matter

great ring tutorial - Used this tutorial with a ring made with the same technique that broke. Very simple and easy to follow, a little difficult to get the size right without the sizing bar. I ended up wrapping wire around a couple of sockets until I found one that was a similar size to my finger, and then used that to create the ring.

3D paper balls / ornaments. I made the flower-like one out of red felt as an ornament. Poked a hole through one of the petals and tied a loop and a knot on the underside of the petal, then attached the rest of the flower together. The knot was hidden and it was very cute.

Ketti Handbag. I made a similar one based on the size of this one.

DIY tangle-free headphones with embroidery floss - easy and fun to do! I made mine all bright green. Took about 3 bunches of embroidery floss, about 8.75 yards each.

Sam Porter I didn't realize that would make them tangle-free. Totally doing this.
