MAKE MASCARA LAST 3X LONGER!! A typical mascara dries out before half of it is used. When your favorite mascara starts getting dry, add 4-5 drops of saline solution or eyedrops to the bottle. Insert your wand and stir and TA-DA!! Fresh mascara! This can be repeated 2 or 3 times until all you mascara is gone.

Cris Schnider These are very bad ideas from a health perspective and could end in a serious eye infection.
Joy Lewis Been doing this for years without a problem.
Jessica Dale That's not a good idea since you should replace mascara and any other cosmetics that go around your eyes at a minimum of every couple of months. Otherwise they can harbor bacteria that cause eye infections.

Terry Schneider I always add a drop of alcohol to mine when it starts to dry out a little, wait for the evaporation and it extends the life of my mascara. I think it's better than when I first open the tube. Been doing this for nearly thirty years too.

Clean those abused cookie sheets with baking soda and hydrogen peroxide!
67 likes 7 comments 436 repins
Meghan Balthazor just did this on my moms 25 yr old baking sheets that were starting to rust and leaving food tasting funny... a lil elbow grease and 1 of my grandmas homemade scrubbies and its lookin way better! still not super shiny or like new but got rid of all the rust and the food tastes normal again!!!
Christine Heusinger Next time just use parchment paper. Whatever you bake will slide right off and it doesn't matter what's on the baking sheet. (Although I have to wonder why they have rust on them!)
Lisa Colón it that a stone? I didn't think you were supposed to clean those. The "seasoned" part is what makes them better and better over time.
Are Too it's not a stone, it's an upside down pan (looks like aluminum.) I'm with christine. use parchment, end of story.
Susan Urbanczyk I tried this and made no headway.
Line a small dish with aluminum foil, a hand full of baking soda, toss in your silver and top with boiling water. It instantly removes tarnish chemically free.

Are Too baking soda is a chemical. basically everything in our world is a chemical. kind of comical, to say something is chemical free.. people mean to say 'artificial-chemical' free or 'noxious-chemical-free.'
Brooke Aziz Does anyone have any tips for removing tarnishing on silver jewelry with marcasite? (Since you can't submerge it, or else the stones will losen)
Missy Neal Don't forget the salt :)
Carrie Funk My hubby has been doing this for years with all my Sterling Silver! :-)

Stella-Hinkle Reynolds My computer won't let me go to the site. Says it is an unsafe website. Too bad as I would like to know how to do this.
Kathy Gendron When you open the site, it gives directions for making something to plump your lips. I put the title in the search on Jillee's site but the results were that nothing was available. Judging by the picture, you can get it off with nail polish remover. I may do a google search to see if I can find anything else.
A small piece of plastic wrap can make all the difference when packing. Never thought about this, so smart!

If you wrap your celery in tin foil before placing it in the fridge it will last for weeks, and it will still be fresh and crisp when you pull it out! This also works for stored broccoli for 7 weeks wrapped in tin foil, and heads of lettuce for at least 6 weeks!!!

Jane Hallowell Put a few pats of butter on corn, wrap in wax paper, cook on high in microwave for about 8 minutes. (4 ears at a time) quick- doesn't heat up kitchen and so good.
Laura Strack I've cooked corn in the husk on the grill and in the oven. Both work great! Just remove the silk first.
TIP: Vanilla Extract in the oven for a great smelling home!

Rachel 71 Where do you buy the oil at?
Jennifer Northington Kroger carries lavender and tree tea oil. :)
Christine Gonzales Any store with a "healthy living" type section will carry essential oils. In our area, I buy mine at Sprouts or H.E.B Grocery Store. You can also get them online, or at places like GNC or The Vitamin Shoppe.
Jane McClure Any other essential oil ideas? I think lavender smells like dirt...don't want my bed smelling like that!

LesDenise Henderson I read an article in Glamour a while back that said the absolute BEST exfoliants for feet are urea, lactic acid, and salycylic acid. I must be a pharmacist's nightmare, because I've been known to buy products high in all three and use them together or in rotation. But no more cracked, sore, ugly, bleeding heels!
RaShelle Kimball We had that stuff in the NICU when I worked there, I LOVE IT!
Becky Childers I guess I'm lucky, my good friend works for Coloplast. Been using this for a couple years now. Its wonderful.
