Elmer's glue on canvas, then paint over it.

Miranda Ickes You could also use hot-glue. It would probably spread out less on the canvas, allowing for finer detail. Although, I'm digging on how loose and flowing this monogram is, too...
June Kay Freeman Did you trace/draw a pattern on the canvas and fill in with glue, or was it all freehand. It's beautiful!
Stephanie McIntyre @Jillee, is this free hand or font?? LOVE IT!
Andrea Nelson It looks like there are pencil marks on the canvass, so I would guess that it's a filled-in pattern.

Trina B Or an easier way, vanilla extract and water. Use 1 part water and 1 part clear SUGARLESS vanilla extract. spray it on. You'll repel mosquitos, gnats, etc and smell good to boot.

Riches to Rags By Dori Just so you are all aware I am the one who put it on my webpage as a great idea. Domestic Imperfections gets the credit and it links to her page. She sent me a comment thanking for me putting it there because she has received so much traffic from my site that it shut her page down. I always make sure credit goes where credit is due.

DIY skin care for dry heels & summer socks for overnite moisturizing. Genius!

Catherine Silveus Dickinson you can find these gel half socks at bed, bath & beyond ! They work great if you like having heels that are soft as a babys BUM !!!
Marty Davis I've also just cut up old socks, slathered my heels, and left them on all night. It's even better to also work on sloughing off old dry skin - like a hot vinegar& water soak.
Dana Alkire how in the world did something so simple never occur to me! This is great.
Jennifer Sisson I use O'keeffe's working hands cream on my heals and it keeps them soft...put on nightly after bath time. I buy it at Bed-Bath-Beyond for about 6 dollars, but cheaper if you have a coupon. here is their website so you can read about it: http://www.okeeffescompany....
Margo Reha Bag Balm, inexpensive and is used by milk cow owners in the coldest weather to keep the teats of the cows soft and keeps them from cracking. Keep on overnight.
