Madelyn Wansley Where can I buy these??? Need them ASAP!
Joani Schofield looks like it might be from France, but if you look around online, I there are probably some diy versions - try searching for 'edison oil lamp'

glenn ross Yikes. It looks fantastic, but function should always come first. Chemical fire retardant is a questionable solution - you have to ask, exactly what chemicals are you heating up around the table and do you want to inhale them with dinner? I like Michelle Bulger's suggestion above.
Megan Liv you can also use FRESH cut wood. it will still have all its moisture & will be much much less likely to catch. we did this at our rehearsal dinner. super easy & costs next to nothing. just used a small pine tree & cheapo tealights (no glass or plastic containment).
Megan Liv my husband is a wildland firefighter, so his suggestion for fresh cut wood had some logic/reason/knowhow behind it.
mollydot Put the tealights in glass holders and put the holders in the wood.
Joani Schofield That is good to know! It makes sense too.

Marcia Provence love this
Joani Schofield Me too, especially as it looks do-able. :)
Teeny Fairy Berries....tiny glowing white LED that fades on and off slowly. Collectively, they produce a moving firefly or fairy light effect that is absolutely unique. Float in water, too! Lay them all around the garden or indoors for a fairyland atmosphere

Sandy Patterson-Gort Be careful. I have a set and they caught on fire.
Joani Schofield were they glass-lined like these? My dad made ones that weren't glass lined and we never burned them because of the fire issue.
You can't keep light in a cage...or can you?
