Julia Poirier It's a beautiful image. It is, however, not natural. Bluebirds don't aggregate like this. Nice photoshopping though.
Staci Waddle One day I looked out in my driveway to see an ocean of blue, which turned out to be what had to be hundreds of bluebirds. It was an amazing sight. I live in Atlanta and this was about 10-15 years ago. I've always wondered about that since then. Not saying the above is natural -- doesn't really look like it, but it is pretty.
Julia Poirier Yes, you're right, bluebirds do aggregate during migration. But these 7 birds are all copies of one bird - rotated and pasted on what appears to be the tips of pussy willows. They are identical except for the ones that were reversed.
Jessi Peterson Plus they are not North American Bluebirds - the blue is too deep a color and our bluebrids don't have black tails.I'm guessing some kind of tropical or Asian species. Whatever it is, it's a lovely color!
