Spotted Lake (Khiluk) is a salt alkali lake in British Columbia with high concentrations of magnesium sulfate, calcium and sodium sulfate as well as a number of other minerals and metals. Corinne Lee-Cooke Apparently that is where they found the first dinosaur bones ??the whole beach is full of fossils. The book Remarkable Creatures by Tracey Chevalier is based on this. well worth a read. x
