Dazey Confuzed Is this based on Douglas Adams' wonderful book with the same title?
Dazey Confuzed It is! Fantastic. I love the BBC.
Joani Schofield Yes, the gentleman on the left did a tv series with Douglas Adams in the 80's I think and now they are going back to revisit. Stephen Fry is tagging along this time as Douglas Adams, sadly, cannot. It is fantastic.
If you haven't seen this short, you are missing out on one of the best things ever filmed.

Corinne Lee-Cooke HA HA!!!! I love that the drinks looked so authentic
Joani Schofield I know! They must have put sugary syrup or something in them to make her drink so aggressively. It is easy to make a Toddler look drunk, I don't know why this hasn't been done before :)
“A PLEA FOR THE ART OF THE MOTION PICTURE We do not fear censorship, for we have no wish to offend with improprieties or obscenities, but we do demand, as a right, the liberty to show the dark side of wrong, that we may illuminate the bright side of virtue - the same liberty that is conceded to the art of the written word - that art to which we owe the Bible and the works of Shakespeare.” — The opening title of the movie The Birth of a Nation (1915) by D. W. Griffith, a premier pioneering American film director. He is best known as the director of the controversial and groundbreaking 1915 film The Birth of a Nation and the subsequent film Intolerance (1916).

Corinne Lee-Cooke we used to watch this on a friday night when I was little, I thought they were old! They must have only been in their 30s!!!
Joani Schofield Isn't that funny? How the definition of old changes so much? :) This is my favorite show. I love it. It gives me warm fuzzies.
Corinne Lee-Cooke Me too. Love it. Margot is my favorite character by a mile
Joani Schofield Margot is hilarious and so perfect. She is the butter on the toast that is the show.
so awkward, so funny
