another pinner said.. After trying 2 different tortilla recipes, we decided we liked this one better. It's a healthier option with olive oil instead of shortening or lard. I always have these 4 ingredients around too. :)

Bathroom Cleaner: baking soda, lemon juice and vinegar. Unfortunately if you have a son, you know the smell.Step 1: Mix a paste of baking soda and lemon juice. If you don't have lemon juice you can use water but lemon juice is a great disinfectant and great for removing odors. The consistency of the paste should be about that of pancake mix. Step 2: Spread the paste all along the bottom of the toilet {where it meets the floor}, the toilet seat, and any other area that gets a lot of over...

Use baking soda and vinegar to fix funky towels. Over time, and with many washes, your bath towels will build up detergent and fabric softener residue, leaving them both unable to absorb as much water and smelling kinda funky when they do. Rather than give Target another lump sum, run them through the wash once with hot water and a cup of vinegar, then again with hot water and a half-cup of baking soda, as wikiHow suggests. That strips the residue from them, leaves them smelling fa...

Place a dishwasher-safe cup filled with plain white vinegar on the top rack of the dishwasher. Using the hottest water available, run the dishwasher through a cycle. The vinegar will help to wash away the loose, greasy grime, sanitizes, and helps remove the musty odor. Next, sprinkle a cupful of baking soda around the bottom of the tub and run it through a short cycle. The baking soda will help freshen and removing stains.

When you get your berries home, prepare a mixture of one part vinegar (white or apple cider) and ten parts water. Dump the berries into the mixture and swirl around. Drain, rinse if you want (though the mixture is so diluted you can't taste the vinegar,) and pop in the fridge. The vinegar kills any mold spores and other bacteria on the surface. Raspberries will last a week or more, and strawberries go almost two weeks without getting moldy and soft.
Finally, a way to get around the Liquid Plumber: "First start off running hot water down the drain and follow with, 1/2 to 1 cup of baking soda and enough white vinegar for bubbling action. The bubbling will bring items to the surface like lost tooth paste caps or other lost items that young adults might thank you for. Once bubbling has stopped pour a little more vinegar to see if you get more bubbling action. After bubbling ceases, run hot water until the sink fills with enough water ...
