A different type of toe-up gusset heel... exactly the same as a cuff-down one, pick-ups and all! I think it looks very tidy.

These are absolutely beautiful in their lacy delicate feel... I would be worried about the strings catching on my toes though

Annie Bee I made this sweater, and LOVE it. So soft and comfortable to wear, but looks put together!
Joy Gerhardt That's great to hear Annie, sine I've got the yarn for mine and am just waiting for an opportunity to cast on :D
Annie Bee The one thing I found is that the loose gauge means that it's hard to get rid of ladders, especially on the sleeves. I ended up with a pair of 12" circs to knit the sleeves on, which are a little fiddly, but gave an infinitely better result than magic-looping or DPNs. More info here: http://anniebeeknits.wordpr...
Joy Gerhardt Ooh yeah, I ended up with wicked ladders on my Wispy sleeves as well. I was able to fix the worst of it with blocking, happily.
I already faved these on Ravelry, but seriously, they're awesome.

Unspeakably clever handknit night biking gloves. conductive thread is knit into the fingers and palm, so that when you make a fist it completes the circuit - and turns on the LEDs to flash to cars for turning.

Love the effect of the cables here - like giant knit stitches themselves.

Perfect idea for lazy people like me - colorwork only on the sleeves ;)
