Els Mama What if. We all just agree that none of us are perfect. None of us know how to lead a perfect life. None of us are doing it 100% correctly. And until the day that we know, beyond any doubt whatsoever, that we are doing it the right way, we agree to follow our own morals and our own beliefs, but not judge anyone else for trying it their way.
Maybe following the bible word for word is the "right way" to live.
Maybe reading it and interpreting it for ourselves and living through those interpretations is the "right way" to live.
Maybe falling in love and having sexual relations with the same gender is the "right way".
I know for a fact that I don't know how to be perfect. My life isn't perfect. I haven't made every decision perfectly. I have sinned. And because of that, I choose not to judge others. I choose not to tell them that their way is right or wrong.
And it is my sincere hope that they show me the same respect.
Jaime Rodriguez Ok let me break it down for you since you seem to do what most so called Christians do “selective reading”. First of all if you are using anything from the 1st testament then I guess I will be seeing you all in HELL because I am sure everyone mixes fabric, plot more then one crop in the same area, eat pork, devoice each other, disrespect our parents, and countless other things that are so horrible to do but our of the norm in this time of day.
But just for you I will go threw the 1st testament “FAIRY TALES” you referred to. Genesis 19:5-7 again selective reading, did you not read the story cause if you did then you would know that this had nothing to do with homosexuality but of lack of hospitality. But of course you would over look that and the fact that a woman can be turned into a pillar of salt. Oh and OMG lets not look at the fact that Lot offered his two virgin daughters to this so called gang rape and then later after escaping they got there own father drunk and raped him to get pregnant! Ya all ...

Amanda Schwinkendorf The bible is just a compilation of stories written by men who lived back in Jesus' time. So really anything said in the bible is being retold by someone else. Not directly from him himself. So I believe they have every right to love whom they choose. :)
