Day 30 - Sterling Silver Soldered Half-ring Bracelet. This was not only fun to make, it looks and feels good on my wrist!

Day 29 - DIY Soldered Sterling Silver Prong Setting for a Faceted Stone. This was much harder to solder than it looks. I thought about throwing it across the room more than once. In hindsight, great thing to learn. I can think of lots of uses for prongs now.

Day 28 - Matte Glass Black and White Earrings. These mod inspired ear ornaments are opaque, matte glass wire wrapped in sterling silver. I added some small sterling beads for a bit of an accent, oxidized and buffed them with steel wool.

Day 27 - Lime Turquoise Oxidized Bracelet. I made this bracelet as a mate for my Day 20 earrings. I have made this bracelet before but not oxidized. It makes a huge difference! The oxidation really pulls it together and pops the green.

Day 26 - Peridot and Lace Earrings. Played with my wire wrapping jig today. These lace squares were too delicate for a bracelet but adding some small peridot rounds to pop a little color made them perfect for earrings!

Day 25 - Coin Pearl with Ringed Crystal Earrings. I found two coin pearls that kinda sorta matched and suspended a sterling ring from them. I added a Jonquil Swarovski crystal inside each ring to catch the sunlight.

Day 24 - Hunk of Swarovski crystal and a shard of blue kyanite. I wire wrapped them with sterling silver, oxidized, buffed and suspended them on leather. Finished this with a sterling silver clasp.

Day 22 - Completed Copper Bracelet. I made a rustic hinge and attached it to the “handles” on the focal. I added three chunky chains with lobster clasps, some jump rings, oxidized it and it looks and feels great!

Day 21 - Tonight I made a buckle focal for a men’s bracelet. It’s copper scraps cut and arranged on a piece of sheet. I soldered them on, hammered it a bit to make it look “manly” and oxidized it. Tomorrow, I need to design and make a bracelet to attach this to.

Day 19 - Forged Sterling Silver with Dichro Glass Necklace. It's the weekend so I decided to try something a bit more complicated! A dapped dome soldered to a disc, a forged oval link, a ring soldered to a tube plus an old earring.

Day 18 - Sponge Coral and Sterling Silver Oxidized Earrings. Lots of forging today! I made the bead caps for this pair of earrings out of sterling silver sheet and used some scrap to make the rectangular dangles.

Day 14 - Bracelet made with a Kumihimo weave of prehnite beads topped off with sterling silver textured cones. I accented it with piece of wire wrapped jade and a faceted rock crystal quartz nugget.

Day 12 - Jasper, Smoky Quartz and Amazonite Necklace. Made this out of materials that have been sitting around for a long time. I think I bought the cabochon more than 10 years ago at a rock show.

Day 9 - I made a pair of labradorite cluster earrings using drilled teardrop stones. Labradorite is a fabulous neutral stone with a little dash of magic. I love the flash of it in sunlight.

Day 5 - Ridiculously long garnet pendant. This pendant didn't "work" for me until it was five inches long. The necklace is oxidized sterling silver with faceted and smooth garnet.

Today, I made a pair of earrings in the Introduction to Art Clay class taught by Rita Camacho at Beadlush in Charlotte, NC. Awesome class and I'm so inspired to work with metal clay now!

Raided my scrap jar and found a sterling silver tube. Soldered two handmade wire rings. Attached two tiny slabs of faceted apatite. Threaded a sterling silver chain through the tube, attached a clasp and voilà! Day 3 complete.

Day 2 - Silver and Copper Soldered Link Earrings - decided to try combining the two metals for day 2. I did want to oxidize these but ran out of time. Had to get them completed and photographed by midnight.
Stick earrings made out of sterling silver scrap wire with faceted freshwater pearls. I hammered and textured the wire scraps to make the sticks.
