Trader Joe's Speculoos COOKIE BUTTER Spread. It took me three tries to finally get some of this, they were always out. Bought the TJ cinnamon graham crackers to go with and they are wonderful paired together. The check-out guy told me his wife used it instead of the peanut butter in her PB cookie recipe and said they were delicious!

octobermoon Even though the stores have red raspberries year round, I only see these in the summer and not for very long. Trader Joe's often has them.

Paczki, pronounced pooch-kee or how I say it - punch-key (not Paa-zick-kee) is a deep fried dough that is filled with fruit preserves or sometimes a sweet custard, and then dusted in powdered or granulated sugar and usually eaten on Fat Tuesday. Traditionally, Paczkis were created to use up all of the fats, sugar, eggs and fruit in the house that you were forbidden to eat during the Catholic observance of fasting throughout Lent. Wow. Some of those years of Catholic school teachings have stuck… but yea none of the guilt…
