Pinner says: Spring is coming and this is the BEST Weed Spray. I made 3 gallons for around $4.00 last year after seeing a pin. Worked better than Round Up & killed the weeds/stray grass on first application. One gallon of APPLE CIDER VINEGAR, 1/2 c table salt, 1 tsp Dawn. Mix and pour into a smaller spray bottle.

Slug Control For Less Than Three Dollars! Slugs don’t like crossing copper; I’ve heard that it reacts with their slime and gives them a mildly irritating shock, which makes them overproduce slime and dry out. I checked out commercially produced copper tape and found that 15 feet of costs 15 dollars. Doesn’t that seem ridiculously expensive? So . . . a roll of masking tape, 16 pennies to the foot - and I have 15 feet of copper for 2.40. {New World Geek}
