Borax snowflakes - If you have Borax at home, you SO need to do this with the kids. Do it after dinner, and by breakfast the kids will be amazed at what has happened! We have 8 snowflakes hanging in our window just a-sparkling away!

Jolly Rancher Suckers - put a piece of foil on a cookie sheet, top with a sheet or parchment paper, then place 2-3 jolly ranchers next to each other, put in 200 oven for 5 min, roll sticks in the candy, and cool.

Mind jars, from the book Moody Cow Meditates. The goal is that when they are feeling out of control, they shake the jar, then sit and watch the glitter settle in the water. It is like our minds when we are angry, frustrated, things feel impossible--our minds and emotions are all shook up. This is a great idea in theory. Wonder if it would work.
