Glazed tile facade of the historic Merrill's building in downtown Napa. The tile up close is really beautiful and almost all the pieces you see are glazed tiles.

Old parfumerie shop -- tuck a refrigerator off to the side, a sink on the island and some cool decor and this could easily be a steampunk kitchen.

Rendered steampunk kitchen. I might change to an oval window, add a tin ceiling, but am stumped where to find a steam engine small enough for an island...*tongue-in-cheek*

Victorian-style "cage" shower via Waterworks. There are still some buildings on the East Coast with the original versions of this. Would be perfect for a steampunk shower room.

I like the serenity, but my designer brain wonders how much splash is created by the tub spout at that height?

W Hotel, Leicester Square, London. Quoted: "This ‘studio living' concept no longer recognises the bathroom and bedroom as two entirely separate areas, rather as spaces that flow into each other.." Only the toilet is behind a door. Desk and lavatory sink areas are combined.
