They actually tied a knot. They tied a fisherman’s knot and it’s the strongest knot. The rope will break before the knot comes undone and the knot only gets tighter with pressure. love this idea. maybe hang it in the house after the wedding!

Love notes and a bottle of wine sealed in a box to enjoy on the tenth anniversary. Another one is to put a bottle of whiskey and love letters in a box. When you have a fight the plan is to take a drink and go to seperate rooms to read the letters. The letters are to be re-written every 5 years on your anniversary.
