These lemon dust cloths take just minutes to prepare and can be stored in an airtight jar until you're ready to use them. Sometimes dusting with a dry cloth does more harm then good as it moves the dirt around instead of catching it. These cloths are damp and infused with vinegar to help catch and kill the bugs at the same time. The addition of olive oil and lemon rind bring a soft polish to your furniture.
Laundry Stain Cheat Sheet! (I complied all of the tips people left in the comments: Hydrogen peroxide also works for blood; Dish soap takes out protein stains - poop, vomit, food stains, blood, grass, chocolate, etc. I use it all the time; Poop stains = sunshine. Seriously, while wet after washing hang in sun and it will get it out. I had some set in poop stains before I did this that are gone now; Buy a product called Greased lightening. I am a nurse and my husband works construction. Haven't met a stain yet it won't take out; Murphy's oil soap works great on grease and oil stains! Pour it on give a little scrub let it set a few and wash!; Also to get Red fingernail polish off of tan carpet, spray the original shaving cream over and rub out in circles! It really works! It all came out!!; Here's a quick fix for white deodorant smears or smudges on shirts, rub the cloth against its own fabric (specifically a discrete piece that has no deodorant on it) this will make it disappear quickly :) ; Dawn dish soap for grease stain ; Try vinegar and warm water to remove hair dye stains from any type of fabric. Keep spraying the vinegar and water mixture directly on the stain. Keep wiping at it until the stain is removed. Clean hair dye stained clothes with dish detergent and ammonia. Soaking cotton and linen clothes in warm water, dish detergent and a small amount of ammonia will remove hair dye stains. ; Murphys soap oil will get out dry erase marker. I used a spatula to scrub with and it worked perfectly!! Also, rubbing alcohol will remove permanent marker stains if you do it asap! ; Candle wax from Carpet--Place a thick (grocery store type) dry paper bag on the carpet (make sure no inked logos etc. are on it because that ink can possibly transfer to the carpet - just cut those portions off of the bag) and use a clothes iron. The paper will soak up the candle wax but be careful to not have the heat of the iron so hot that it might melt the carpet if the carpet is of synthetic fibers (almost all are synthetic these days). Just keep ironing back and forth on the paper portion only while rearranging the bag to soak up more wax if needed. ; for oil in fabric -soak in color bleach and oxi-clean for a few hours then wash out. worked for me getting fish oil out my scrubs! (scoop of each) ; (nailpolish on clothes) Fabric 1. Place the fabric face down on a clean white cloth or paper towels and blot with acetone (Caution: Do not use acetone on fabrics containing acetate or triacetate. It will melt these fibers!). 2. Rinse with clear water. 3. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 until blotting no longer transfers the stain to the cloth or paper towels. 4. Apply a prewash stain remover. 5. Launder. ; Toothpaste also works for ink! Just cover the marked up area with toothpaste and let it dry. Wash as usual. ; De-solv it is amazing for anything greasy, ink, lipstick.. Between that and Zout I can get out almost anything. With four kids, that is saying a lot! I don't usually notice stains for 4 days to a week so they don't get treated early. )
