Keturah Young I just read it. It's really terrible and makes me angry. I know these people are not perfect, but at least a wholesome, upright life that can be an example to others both privately and publicly. I did have to laugh at myself after pinning this. Obviously one does not change anything by pinning a picture either :) But at least it makes us all think.
Dorothea's Closet Vintage I don't feel like the movement was ever one w/ noble intent. They put our the video, raised money and then announced that all they intended to do was raise awareness....very little of what they raised is even going to Uganda. They've also been connected to the preacher in Uganda that thinks gays should be executed. I just get a bad feeling about this group.
Keturah Young I wasn't aware of that at all. I'm leery about many groups in general, mostly because, cynical as I may sound, they generally turn out to be dirty or seem to be wanting attention for the founders and not the cause. There are still noble groups with noble causes. It just seems harder to find them.
