Kim This is a good idea, but that girls is WAAAAAAYYYYY too little to be sitting without a booster. In fact, she should be in a 5 pt. harness. Look at that lap belt! People seriously need to take car seat safety classes before they leave the hospital. I'm a car seat tech and this picture scares the bejeezus out of me.
Kim *not* This is *not* a good idea. Forgot that little word!
Kathy Davis Hey can you make this for me?
Heather Black Yikes--YES, this little one should be in a car seat. And you've got to be really careful about modifying restraints in this way.
something anonymous This is a really dangerous product, please do not use it with anyone. There shouldn't be any padding between her and the seat, and she should be in a booster or car seat. If she was in the car like that during an accident, she would be seriously hurt.
{snowflakes} easy to make:: In a wide mouth canning jar, add 3 Tbsp of borax per 2 cups of boiling water. stir to dissolve. Make a shape using a pipe cleaner, and hang it from a pencil suspended across the jar mouth using a piece of yarn (don't let it touch the bottom). Be sure water is high enough to cover. Leave overnight.

A Calm Down Jar. Shake the jar and the child has to watch the jar until the glitter settles.

Erika Wolfe If my child needs to calm down i'm not sure I want to give them a glass jar full of liquid!
CR Zombie @Erika Wolfe so true!
Tonya Houston The calming effect of water with a little glimmer.
Susan Webb I would love to do this - but in a non-breakable container. If they're in a bad mood giving them glass is not a good idea.
Kit Elizabeth I agree with you all with giving a glass jar when they aren't happy
