In case of an emergency, say a house fire, wouldn't it be nice if you could save all of your most valuable documents? I used to keep all of them in an old filing cabinet but you won't see me running out of our burning home carrying that! An emergency binder is a place to store birth and marriage certificates, passports, social security cards, home insurance information, car insurance information, emergency cash, missing fliers for your family members, etc.

Many times, children have more toys and clothes many times than they know what to do with or can properly organize by themselves. This makes it frustrating for them when you tell them to "go clean your room", because they may not have enough room to put it all neatly, but that may not be apparent to them.

Kimberly Eddy lucky! I think it would be a great space saver for us. We have a big house but the layout makes organizing a problem. I think I may have to make one.
Jennifer Vasquez Our home is on the small side. It's an attached villa about 1100 sq ft. But I love it and am grateful the Lord has provided us with it. I'm a stay at home mom and we homeschool so it simplifies things for everyone. But less space makes organization a challenge. This will be such a time saver for me. Can't wait to share my reviews.
I'm experiencing some discontentment and envy looking at this....Organization to the max!

This is really smart! Attach a piece of card stock folded in half on the front of a container, then tuck in a list of what's inside. That way, if you change what's in each bin next year, you don't have to peel off all the old labels.

Kimberly Eddy I'm not sure. I was thinking it would be a good idea if you have limited space...our staircase is next to the front door...so mittens etc..I didn't even think about the dirt! hmmm. wish we could do this here...
