Love this! Buy plates from Dollar Store, write things like, Night Before Christmas, wedding vows for a gift, happy birthday song, the possibilities are endless :) Please note, they used a Porcelain 150 Pen which is permanent and safe once baked for 30 mins in a conventional oven.

A special plate I made when our family was just beginning. A friend shared the idea that although you could buy a "special" plate for birthdays this could be about more. And so it marks life's celebrations and even life's disappointments with the reminder that in good times and in bad when this plate appears at your place in our family table.... You are loved....You are valued...You are capable.
It looks like she actually made this into a real book - she did it for Valentines Day for her husband, but it might also be cool as an anniversary gift or even to give to kids for their birthdays or whatever.
