How did I not know this trick? Submerge wet nails in cold water for 3 minutes. The polish will dry completely, and it gets rid of any that got onto your skin!

How smart is this?! Rub Vaseline on the skin around your nails before polishing. Mistakes can be wiped off when your nails are dry and will soften cuticles at the same time.
