Elizabeth Flowers I wonder if you can do this with a cotton yarn? I read through the comments and it said that only animal fibers work with acid dye...so probably not :(
Knitty Gritty Crochet @ Elizabeth Flowers - you can use cotton, but you have to prepare it a good bit first. There are tutorials online about using cotton with each of the specific types of dyes :)
