Need to remember this ... so many clothes I thought were ruined... Chalk will remove grease stains from clothes. Simply rub the stain with chalk, then toss in the wash as normal.

Add a cup of baking soda to the toilet & let it soak for an hour then flush. It will clean the toilet & absorb the odor. (Going to try this!)

How to paint furniture black to get that high-end "Pottery Barn-esque" look.
Add a tablespoon of vanilla extract per pint of paint and mix it in REALLY well. It doesn't affect the paint but it will get rid of the smell and you will be able to breath more easily with your next painting project.

to get your drain to unclog... pour 1/2 c of soda then 1/2 c of vinegar down drain. cover it with a wet cloth, wait 5 min, uncover, then flush with hot water
Cover your refrigerator shelf with Saran's Press and Seal Wrap....then when it gets dirty you just peel it off and apply a new piece!! This is genius.
