Love this idea: When the kids do their chores right away, with a good attitude and according to mom's standards, you reward them with a few points. They save these points and then at least once a week open a "family store."

I love the idea of making my own pinata - especially since my kids usually want themes I can't find in stores, like "Star Wars Pirate Ninjas." I would, however, figure out some method of hanging besides using a plastic hanger! All that work to make it, and then just sticking it on a damn hanger? No.
