This is BRILLIANT!! Each member of the family has a mesh lingerie laundry bag, and a hook. They put their dirty socks in the bag each night. Then when it's full, you wash the whole mesh zipped up bag, and give it back! No more sorting through and figuring out which socks are for which person!

My OCD side would go crazy but this is a great idea! Every January, I turn all of the hangers in my closet backwards, like this. It takes about 60 seconds: Each time I wear an item, I hang it back up in the normal fashion, which takes zero effort to remember or do. In June, any item that is still hanging backwards has not been worn in 6 months, and I usually donate it to Goodwill unless I can come up with a good reason to save it.

secretly love this. ---- She makes 52 file folders, each for a week in the year. Staples to do lists, menus, b-day's etc, in advance. HUM, i either LOVE this system or it is a bit crazy...i love that everything is in one folder.

My mom likes to do the artsy scrapbooks but like you said, there isn't much time, so she dedicates a weekend towards putting together a book on shutterfly of all the family pictures. It's nice having a tangible book of pictures rather than looking through them on the computer...
Laura Lewis Well I like Blurb and MyPix -- I just haven't taken the time to organize all of my photos... I love doing the books and I would really like to start doing one every year -- at least since we've been married.
Jessica Lynn I did one for our first year and I'm still working on our second year. Gotta just finish it already! (I use blurb!)
