Doily luminaries. Use sugar starch and form doilies around a balloon. Dry, pop the ballon and remove.

This would be awesome for a birthday party....light & ribbon garland. Just tie ribbons onto a string of lights. This would be pretty with just one color of ribbon too.
Aha....now I know how this is done! Cut glass bottles for all sorts of crafts. Surprisingly easy, and can be used for vases.

go to the plumbing department at Home Depot and grab a six foot long piece of foam tubing for $.97!! Snip the length you want and duct tape the ends together. Foam ones are SO expensive.
