Add orange peels (or any citrus peel) to a quart of white vinegar in a closed container and let it set for two weeks. Combine citrus/vinegar solution half/half with water and use for cleaning. Works on floors, tile, fixtures, etc. Smells good and is tough on scum! Best of all there are no chemicals.
put a drop or two of essential oil in the cardboard tube of the toilet paper... every time the paper is used it releases the scent

Bins - one for each meal. Put all the (shelf stable) items for the meal in a basket with the recipe card. Done.
Cover your refrigerator shelf with Saran's Press and Seal Wrap....then when it gets dirty you just peel it off and apply a new piece!! This is Genius.....I am so going to do this!

These are what we use to organize Legos. We currently have 2 but I see a third in the near future. I use the divided lower compartment for things like separating flowers, doors and windows, minifigures, etc. Things you always want to find but can't. The other one (since we have two of these) we use for separating out car pieces since that's the kids' favourite thing to make - cars :-) And, yes, for the most part my 4 year old is good about putting things in the right place :-)
Family Binder - shopping lists, meal plans, babysitting info sheet, finances, so much more.
Measuring cups and spoons inside your cabinet door. So smart and out of the way!

Reusable Swiffer dusters! Made from micro fleece, works even better than the disposables and they can be washed and reused over and over.

Get a cheap shelf from Ikea. Attach a mirror and cork board and put it on top of a lazy susan (also from Ikea). FABULOUS!

Cute idea for the kitchen to hang invitations, pictures, and everything else that would normally go on a fridge (fixed link to go to actual post)

Put a shelf over a window and use the shelf brackets to hold a curtain rod.
Add one teaspoon of liquid soap and several drops of an antibacterial essential oil (such as tea tree, eucalyptus, rosemary, or peppermint) to one cup of baking soda. Add just enough water to form a paste, and use it with a sponge or brush to scour bathtub surfaces.

Yes, there are numerous similar things, but I really like how this one works.
For picture hanging! (I had to read the blog article to get how this works, and I'm so glad I did!)
Fetching pins…
Amber Shelton I'm stealing this from you! It's brilliant! I'm doing this too!
Jessi Overton I'm always dreading figuring it out. I figure I can make a simple set with meats and veggies, and a more complex set with actual meals like "lasagna" or whatever. Roll, write, good to go!
Amber Shelton I have the same issue with planning dinner. This may simplify things immensely!
