Add orange peels (or any citrus peel) to a quart of white vinegar in a closed container and let it set for two weeks. Combine citrus/vinegar solution half/half with water and use for cleaning. Works on floors, tile, fixtures, etc. Smells good and is tough on scum! Best of all there are no chemicals.

The Miracle Mask This DIY mask, made of nutmeg, honey, and cinnamon, is calming and soothing for stressed-out skin – in addition, it smells absolutely amazing! The secret? Nutmeg and honey act as natural anti-inflammatories, which can reduce swelling and redness in skin. They’re also great for soothing acne scars and preventing infection. In addition, the nutmeg and cinnamon also work to exfoliate your skin when you wash this mask off.

NATURAL COLD REMEDY/simple DIY detox bath 1. Run a hot bath. It opens pores and prepares body for cleansing. 2. Add three pints of food-grade hydrogen peroxide (3%). This oxygenates the body and helps purge toxins. It’s also antibacterial and antiviral. 3. Add two ounces of ground ginger, a natural anti-inflammatory that increases blood circulation and helps promote the elimination of toxins through sweat. 4. Soak for about 30 minutes. 5. Drink lots of water; You need to replenish what’s being pulled out of your system. (Has anyone tried this? Does it work? Plus, what is food grade hydrogen peroxide and where do you get it?)

Clean the microwave and leave it smelling sweet with this household trick! Mix 2 cups of water and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract in a microwave-safe container, and zap it on high for five minutes. When it's done, remove the container and wipe down the interior of the oven. Any gunk should slide right off.

Simply rub onto greasy stains and the chalk powder will absorb the grease, making the stain easily removable by the laundry soap in the wash.
Sprinkle a little on the shirt’s underarms and collar, then iron to prevent sweat stains on white shirts. The powder forms a barrier that keeps oil and grime from seeping into the threads.

DIY Furniture Polish: 1 lemon, olive oil, water, 1 small container with lid, and 1 cloth rag. Cut lemon in 1/2 and squeeze into container, add 1 tbsp of olive oil, add 1 tbsp of water, tighten lid and shake until emulsified. Pour small amount onto cloth and begin wiping down furniture. *will need to make it fresh each time since this is a natural and perishable recipe*
